Opening of Larimer - East Liberty Phase I Waiting List for Wheelchair Units

OPENING OF THE LARIMER – EAST LIBERTY PHASE I WHEELCHAIR UNIT WAITING LISTS; ONE-BEDROOM, TWO-BEDROOM, THREE-BEDROOM AND FOUR-BEDROOM SITE BASED WAITING LISTS FOR WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE UNITS ONLY
Effective August 10, 2016, the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (HACP) will open the Larimer – East Liberty Phase I wheelchair accessible unit waiting lists for one- (1) bedroom, two- (2) bedroom, three- (3) bedroom and four- (4) bedroom units ONLY for persons/families that require the features of a wheelchair accessible unit. Families must meet the specific bedroom size requirements, and meet the eligibility criteria for a wheelchair accessible unit. The waiting lists will remain closed for the above mentioned waiting lists for all persons/families that do not require the features of a wheelchair accessible unit.
HACP will only be accepting pre-applications in person from families/households that require a wheelchair accessible unit. Pre-applications can be obtained at the HACP Occupancy Department, 100 Ross Street, 4th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA, 15219. Persons with disabilities requiring accommodation to submit a pre-application can contact the Disability Compliance office at 412-456-5282.
Please be advised that part of HACP’s eligibility determination process includes the provisions of its reasonable accommodation policy, requiring families to request accommodation to qualify a person/family for a wheelchair accessible unit. This event is for the Larimer – East Liberty Phase I Community ONLY and is completely separate from the HACP Housing Choice Voucher and Low Income Public Housing Programs.
