HACP and Partners Host 16th Annual Clean Slate Program Featuring Charlie Batch

PITTSBURGH, PA – The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (HACP), Clean Slate E3 (the non-profit Affiliate of the HACP) will present Clean Slate 2013, featuring a keynote speech by Charlie Batch, 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at the Carnegie Science Center.

2013 marks the 16th consecutive year the Housing Authority has hosted Clean Slate as its signature youth education and empowerment event. HACP is pleased to have Homestead native and Pittsburgh Steeler Charlie Batch to provide a message of motivation and inspiration to an audience of 250 to 300 young public housing residents.

“Mr. Batch is well-known and respected member of the Pittsburgh community. He has succeeded both on and off the field and will provide a great example for the youth that Clean Slate strives to serve,” said Michelle Jackson, HACP Chief Community Affairs Officer.  “His life-long commitment to education and community advocacy embodies the values the Clean Slate program tries to instill in our future leaders.”
