Please note: Not all households will be eligible for the specific bedroom size units listed for each of the communities, as the age, gender, relationships and number of household members affect the number of bedrooms for which a household is eligible. Income and eligibility restrictions of the Housing Choice Voucher Program apply.

Position on the waiting list/s will be determined based upon date and time the completed pre-application/s is/are accepted by the online system.

Housing Choice Voucher Program

The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh Housing Choice Voucher Program Waiting List is currently CLOSED.

To check your waiting list status:

The new Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (HACP) Applicant Portal is now online and ready to use.

Clients who have applied for housing through the HACP may log into the portal to check their application and waitlist statuses, as well as check for other open waitlists.

ALL clients must register a new account to use the new portal, even if you previously registered an account to use the old portal.

To access the new portal, please visit: https://hacp.myhousing.com/Account/Login.

For first-time users, click the REGISTER button underneath the Username and Password field boxes once the login page appears.

For current clients on the waiting list, you can check your list status at any time, call: 412-520-3848.
