Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the HACP has received $27 million in a Recovery Act Public Housing Capital Fund Formula Grant. Most of these funds will go toward completing additional accessible homes that meet the requirements of the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (UFAS). Other funds will go towards other physical needs at HACP properties.
This Recovery Act Tracker provides summary information on the projects supported by the grant, including the amount of funds obligated (contracts that are executed) and the amount of funds expended. Clicking on a project will provide additional information, including a brief project description, a listing of contractors and the amounts obligated and expended for each contract. Information on employment generated by the project will also be added.

* Note on Jobs calculation: HACP follows the lead of Federalreporting.gov and calculates Full Time Equivalent (FTE) positions based on total hours worked divided by full time hours available. As HACP's posted information is cumulative, the full time hours available are determined based upon the project's active period (i.e. from the day the first contractor began work on the project until the end of the report period, or project completion, whichever is earlier). In some cases, reporting of work hours by contractors lags behind reporting periods, so some hours worked during the reporting period may not be included, but will be included in future reports.
