The Creative Arts Corner
The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh's (HACP) Creative Arts Corner offers an audio/visual training program that's free for all HACP Residents. CAC students are provided with a unique opportunity to cultivate their creative strengths in a state of the art studio environment.
Learn How To
- Compose and contribute to broadcast quality productions using professional techniques and equipment;
- Take and develop high quality digital photographs using SLR cameras and software like Photoshop;
- Understand the ins and outs of the music and film industries from marketing to distribution;
- Write and produce your own music CD; and,
- Capture and edit a wide range of video projects.
Beatrice 'BEACYSPEAKS' Bush Music Production and Spoken Word Artist
Known as Beacy, later evolved into BEACYSPEAKS. To the hearer, she has a pleasant-sounding melodic voice. The subject matter of her Spoken Words are inspired by Biblical Truth and Life Experiences. She grew up in a godly environment where Church involvement was a standard. The passing of both her parents 3 months apart caused a greater awareness for life and deepened life’s purpose. With facilities in both Bedford Dwellings and Northview Heights Estates, training programs are available to every HACP resident. CAC program participation provides students with an opportunity to get hands-on with exciting new technologies and attain valuable and applicable skills.

Nathan Williams is a Florida Native and U.S. Army Veteran (6 years). Nathan has been employed with HACP since 2004. Nathan has a degree in computer programming from Keiser University – 1993 (Tallahassee, Florida). Nathan has over 30 years experience in the music industry, multimedia, computers, and photography.
